Baptism
To book a baptism for your child, please contact the parish office at least six months before the baptism date. An application form must be completed. In keeping with the diocesan policy, at least one parent or guardian of the child needs to supply their baptismal certificate and the child’s birth certificate. At least one of the godparents must be a practicing Catholic. Parents and godparents have to attend a meeting with the catechist before the baptism takes place. Download baptismal form (PDF).

First Communion 2024/2025
The Sacraments of Reconciliation & First Holy Communion are important sacraments for your child, for all your family and indeed for our Church and the whole community to which we belong.
If your child is 8-year-old or older and/or he/she is in year 3 at school or above, your child qualifies to be enrolled in the First Communion programme. You can collect the application form, from the church or the parish office in September. The deadline to submit the form is 19th October, 2024.
First Parents’ Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 12th November, 2024 at 7pm in the Sacred Heart Community Centre.
The Children’s Sessions begin on Sunday, 17th November, 2024.
Confirmation 2025
Young people who are 14 years old and above (Year 9 or above) are eligible to join the Confirmation Programme 2025.
Registration is open and the enrolment forms are ready and available to be picked from the parish office or from the back of the church. You can also download the enrolment form for confirmation 2025.
The deadline for submission of the completed forms is Sunday, 1st December, 2024.
The programme will start early January, 2025.
The sessions will be held on Thursdays from 7pm to 8pm.
Marriage
Whether marrying here or abroad, engaged couples should make arrangements to start the marriage paperwork at least six months before the planned wedding date and before finalising any social plans. Couples must be registered as parish members at least six months before booking their wedding.
Anointing of the Sick
If you are suffering from a terminal illness, have a chronic illness or will be having surgery soon you can receive the Anointing of the Sick. There is no reason to wait until near death, please contact us.
The Rites of Christian Initiation of Adult (RCIA)
This is a journey of faith for adults who wish to become Catholics. By this same rites those Catholics already baptised are prepared to receive the Sacraments of Confirmation and the Body and Blood of Christ. Please contact the Parish Priest, Fr. Homebound Eucharist
